I am an architect specializing in the architectural design of homes and cottages - including renovations & additions.
Locations are primarily in Central & Southern Ontario - including the cottage areas of Muskoka, Georgian Bay, Parry Sound, Simcoe, Haliburton, the Kawartha's, Lake Huron & Bruce Peninsula.
I am very fortunate; I just love what I do.
What interests me in a design project has nothing to do with its' size or budget; instead, what interests me is a project where the owner desires a well-conceived, well-designed, aesthetically pleasing, convenient and functional home or cottage that takes full advantage of the site, and belongs.
I received my Bachelor of Architecture degree from the School of Architecture at Carleton University in Ottawa in 1986. I opened my architectural practice in August 1991.
I am married to a beautiful, highly caring woman (that I don't deserve), and am a dad to two amazing teenage daughters, of whom I am very proud. We also have 2 furry little pups - Ziggy & Zoë.
I grew up playing competitive hockey from a young age. I still play; or at least pretend to - although I am much better at cheering on the Leafs. (This year should be especially fun to watch.)
I have been cottaging since I was a young age; enjoying boating and waterskiing (and even attempting to build the odd ski ramp). Today it's a slower, more body-friendly pace of kayaking.
